The other day, Marcus and I discovered we could be related.

But we aren't, actually.

On Tuesday, Marcus and I went to The Cornerhouse to try to do The Reel Deal again, which is a really good deal! I was going to have a glass of wine instead of a pint and everything!! The ovens were broken so they had to stop letting people do it. We went to Popalino's instead :) And bought Jaques Cider. 'If it means owt now...'
We went to see Encounters At The End of the World by Werner Herzog which was great! It was funny in some parts but really interesting at most, with quite a frightening introduction into McMurdo. He also made fun of a linguist who lived there because he spoke too much. He did make an intresting point about people caring more about rehoming animals than a dying language. There was an incredibly upsetting part whilst he was following the penguins, where they had filmed the exact moment in a penguins life where it decided to turn away from it's flock and walk towards the mountains alone. They found another of these penguins but were advised to not disrupt the penguins track. Marcus said he would keep it forever. The whole scene was just white mountains and snowy ground- there was nothing and this Penguin would have been alone for thousands of miles, without food or protection from it's flock. It was heading for certain death :'(. Otherwise- a very interesting documentary.
After that, we went to the red 'mosher' pub and were surrounded by men with hair longer than mine and women in fishnets and foot high platforms.
We also went to Manchester's revolution. I have to say- Preston's is better :)

The next morning I had a blood test, and this time it really, really hurt! It never usually hurts, and I have a visable bruise on my arm now :\ Maybe there have been too many holes pushed into my am recently for the vein to keep up!
That night, Steph's 21st birthday happened! I met a very nice young lady called Kym and another girl who I can't remember's name, but who danced with us in Lava. The boys were wankers. Nicola and I opened our Lemon Cider (oh baby) and it spilt everywhere. The punch was delicious and in the cocktail factory, we were served quite quickly by a very small man with a huge mustache. My cocktail was called Tinerbell's Tutu and it had hundreds and thousands sprinkles around the edge. It was DELICIOUS. We went to Reflex after that and a man was pole dancing like a dream! Cheeky Vimto tasted like horrible wine and a disguuuusting man with bulging eyes was body rolling over to Helen who was oblivious until he was quite close. I almost wee'd on the dancefloor. I think he saw us laughing at him because he stood awkwardly for a while and then left. He must have been pushing 50 and looked like a frightening Egyptian from The Mummy. Gross. We went to Lava after that and we got in slowly, but when Helen and I wanted to nip out, Stewart and Dominic gave us special treatment and were all winky :). The bouncers were charming everywhere that night.
A boy told me he had seen my dress on another girl that night and I was like 'THANKS :|' and he said 'no...you're about a foot and a half taller than her' fuck oooooofffffffff. Lava was funny- no sign of Gamble though :( There was some kind of transvestite on stage trying to get everyone to do a special dance. I think absolutely NOBODY responded except to saw 'who the fuckk???'. We left when he was on. It was home time and I was sick to death of wondering whether anyone could see my nipples.
Never wearing that dress ever again.

Tonight, Marcus and I are going to the beer festival and we're probably also going to end up at Reflex again listening to Oh, What a Night. :) I can't wait.

Look what we had done the other day in the train station...
I love it when Marcus styles my hair and I sit on his knee :).

My Grandad is out of hospital and feelin' fiiiiiine! Which means more nana visits and more cups of the best tea ever :) I love!

'So help me god I will slap you in public...'

This is what I get from Marcus (L).

Last night, Marcus, Heath, Mark and I all went to theeeee Mad Ferret to see The Kabeedies who were really cute actually :). The lady who sang was dancing around like a robot, which you only see on football fields or a Lady GaGa concert these days. She didn't look like a prick though. They were really nice and the guitarist looked like Sam Nicholas. The same guy ALLLLWAYS IDs me there, it's embarrassing because I have changed alot since I was 16, in appearance, and I can tell they're thinking it's not me :(
Heath beat Mark at pool.
Sam 'the birthday boy' King arrived with some of his friends and we all had a drink, before going to find his sister. A guitarist with a typically 'brit pop' hairstyle asked Marcus what the greatest parts of his life had been. Marcus didn't answer, LOSER. If I was going to be asked, I would have mentioned the time I was awarded a trophy for my incredible Cricket skills in year 4. I didn't once hit the ball.
He didn't ask me, and I ended up having to remind Marcus that I was actually the best thing in his life. What a fucking JOKE. That complete stranger went on to tell us he suffered mental health problems for a few years. COOL GUY TELLING STRANGERS.
We all walked towards Yates' because it's the coolest hang in Preston. We got to the door and the bouncer said 'no trainers' :( so Marcus and I went to Reflex!! AHAHA. It was actually quite wonderful. We got doubles and danced to songs like Grease Medley, Run DMC and Aerosmith and Dolly Parton. It really is one of the worst places you could ever go. There were sexy women EVERYWHERE. I was surprised Marcus wanted to leave with me, given the amount of clunge there was there. 30+ forever.
We topped off our Reflex experience with a very, very in depth conversation about family issues, racist influences, aids and parenting.
Decided to go to Barney's. WHO DECIDES?!?! Barney's was closed.
We walked to Warehouse and Marcus picked up a wine bottle, then smashed it so all the wine went all over my feet. THANK YOU. Some bellend started saying 'why do you speak posh??' Go back to Topshop, horrible boy :(. We got to the door of Warehouse and changed our minds haha. Just got in a taxi home.
Taxi driver was a smooth operator if I ever saw one! Opened the door for us and shook Marcus' hand and hugged me. I gave him a £2 tip. He was pleasant but asked personal questions like 'are you two getting out together?'
I can't tell you how I managed to get the bed out, I was really drunk. We went to sleep and woke up in the morning. I found Marcus with Truffle :) She really, really likes him.

Sarah and I ordered food today and now I feel like grease is pouring out of me :(
I hate writing blogs that have no photographs to include.

Tomorrow, Helen is going to cancel our Turkey booking so we can rearrange the holiday to include Steph and Liz :D!!! Lushies on Tour '09. We're going to drink Fish Tanks of cocktails and sit in the sun forever :) Nicola is already going to be there, so we will be on it immediately in the bar aparently :) it'll be a long trip.

'It's worse if you're mixing with drugs, Kathryn...'

RIGHT, thanks doc.

Aparently drinking is making my liver work too hard, andddd I have to cut down on the alcohol intake. I have to say that was the most embarrassing consultation of my life. Mum certainly didn't need to be there, but she was. How much, on average, I drink on a night out. I could see my mum rubbing her temples when I had to explain myself.
He also mentioned drugs. Like...recreational drugs. Do I honestly look like the person who is a regular drug user? :(

Fuck off, Marcus' birthday and easter weekend, I'm bloody drinking! Blood test at the end of the month and I'm definately not getting my hopes up. I'm not changing my plans for the sake of my liver. The doctor even said 'enjoy it whilst you can!'

Got my hair done, whilst my hairdresser suggested I go on a date with her son. :| Bye, bye black roots :)

Last night was Sam's BBQ party event. The food never cooked for the meat eaters, but us vegetarians were stuffed :) Lovely. There were some high school wankers there, actually. Not Nick, but the others. 'Why did you force all that vodka on us, Sam?!' :| It was funny otherwise:)

Oh yeah, that high school wanker kid said 'oh I don't care, I didn't even know Ian Tomlinson' :| what.

Times, times, tiiiimes.

I'm very excited to get my life back on track after the major blow of tonsillitis. I wouldn't say it has been my favourite illness, still on the meds. I had to half the dosage because 2 pills 4 times a day was too much for my pathetic body. So nooow, it's taking twice as long to get through the whole course. Doctor might tell me to stop taking them tomorrow though. HOPEHOPEHOPE.

It's Quids tonight, so I see my work ladies for the first time in months! Ring of Fire as well, we're on it!!
There will be a few photographs I imagine so that will be something enjoyable to post :) Hopefully Nicola Young will take it too far with the beverages, since Clit still has to buy her birthday drinks. Booya.

On Saturday, I went to the ferret, warehouse and the old dog. It was nice because the company I was in made me laugh huge amounts. Warehouse was somewhat of an experience. Felt like an aneurysm. It was good, no less :)

Next up after tonight is Marcus Barnett's bloody 18th! A night that will be :D I have my dress which I realised I have dropped 2 dress sizes according to topshop standards. And those standards are pretty tough, since they have reintroduced a size 6 into their normal size ranges, rather than just in 'petite'. Next stop, size 8 :)
Marcus told me he wants to go into Lava so he can buy endless VKs.
My brother, Peter Heatley will be out that night too, you know. The whole gang :)

Later this month I have Steph Leggett to entertain :D Her big 21st. That will be a rough night I think. Nicola Young is up for it.

It bloody stinks of paint in this house ¬¬

You're just a Barfly baby

Please never stop making music.

I just remembered how brilliant our Ray is.

COME BACK TO ME RAYYY, SING TO ME AGAIN :'(

Nicola Young and Peter Heatley

is my favourite person ever.

She just brought me a bunch of lovely flowers and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to make me feel better and she totally wins! :)

Nicola bloody Young (L) xxx

TO ADD
I really, really like my brother. He's dead cool actually :) The big brother everyone wants. He comes back from work, makes me laugh a little bit and then asks me if I want the chocolate bar he bought me (L). He also took me for my blood test the other day. Kind boy, but we don't show affection in our family so I just have to write it here :)
