BEEFY,

I haven't written in a long time which was brought to my attention the other day. There is a lot to report, I just don't have the patience.

My sister's birthday party last Sunday was wild. Where was she finding these bowling champions? Skill in 5 little 13 year old bodies. It was incredible. They got a little bit excited, mind. Drinks were spilling, texts were flying back and forth, jokes were being cracked like eggs none stop! I loved it :) Mum and I definitely had a favourite in Emma, oh yeah.
Frankie and Benny's is an unusual place, no? I hadn't been before that visit. It was quite nice :) Man Boob City in the photographs on the wall though, sheesh! Best veggie burger I have ever had. Happy Birthday Young'n!

Back to college, worst few days of my life. Awful, awful, awful facilities 'available'. I think the btec first years/a levels who don't care about photography should stick to digital because there isn't much they can do to fuck up the macs, but there's an awful lot at stake in the darkroom/tank room. And they're doing everything they can to ruin it for the second years, who have important work to be doing. You can redo first year work. I think they should fuck off (given a few exceptions, i.e Kathy, Tom and Josh :)!) . So I had a few pretty bad experiences, and realised my beloved Pentax might be dieing (NOOO!!!!!) :(:(:(:(:( please, please, please no :'''(

Friday was nice. The end of the week. Couldn't bring myself to be disappointed in everything for the third day in a row so I skipped my lessons and sat in the Library from 9:30-2:00. Took loads of notes on Diane Arbus, which was pleasant. I think I quite like her earlier stuff, and learning about Doon and Amy, too. They were little cuties, I can tell you!!
That afternoon, Marcus and I went back to that cute little book shop in Leyland. The man who owns it was relentlessly rejecting a woman and her books.
'oh but surely your customers would be interested in a book on Polish culture?!'
'no they wouldn't.'
And with that he made her walk away with three bags fulls of hugely heavy books. (L) After she had gone, he said 'sorry you were dragged into that...' to Marcus and I.
We went to the upstairs area and Beefy Botham happened.

After this, Nicola and I spent quality time eating mediocre food and drinking mediocre wine. We went to the cocktail factory which was really pleasant. It was all quiet and nice beverages were served. I had a bloody lovely time.
This time next week she'll be an adult, and and angelic one, too! Excited :)
